Ski Landscape Corp.
Canal Gardens landscape design was designed by John Wolski, President, and Vicki Tennant, Landscape Manager, at Ski Landscape Corp. Ski is located on the east side ofIndianapolis near Fort Harrison. In business for over 25 years, Ski is a full service landscape maintenance and installation company. The idea for Canal Gardens was to create a design that would create a quiet, cozy, and private feeling space for the new homeownerÕs. The front gardens will be bordered with hedges to create a private feeling. Each small front court garden will have a small flowering tree and groundcover planted underneath. The chosen plant list contains a variety of plants that will add to the landscaping throughout the changing seasons. The common areas between buildings and ends of buildings also have park-like landscaping settings. The alleyway is also planted to finish off the garage/alley path areas. There is a detention pond on site and this area will be planted with a mixture of deciduous and evergreen trees to assist in deflection of sound and sight from the interstate roadway.
